| Thursday 23rd October 2014 | Wolverine Bates | | I won''t argue that the games were complete and utter crap (they were), having been there myself. However I will say the CD-i platform was utter nirvana if you worked for a company that subscribed to Muzak or AEI Music on disc and you were an easy-listening junkie, as home CD-i was descended from a platform (CD-BGM) meant for just that. And it remained 100$ compatible with it. Usually 37800 Hz ADPCM (type "B") audio, mono or stereo. That was an advantage (although a very minor one) it had over the other CD-based video game platforms of the day.
Don''t forget, the original Playstation used a disk format that was essentially CD-i with an ISO9660 TOC. |

| Wednesday 29th December 2010 | Jeice1990 | | Dr. Raptorheimer was wrong. This system was never gonna be the CD add-on for the SNES. It was first worked on in the mid-1980s and never really intended to be a game console, until the final few years of its life span, at which point is had become utterly outdated for games (talk about bad timing!). Notable games on the system included the acclaimed "Burn: Cycle", the hilarious (intentionally or not) "Hotel Mario" and of course a version of the infamous "Dragon''s Lair" |

| Saturday 4th December 2010 | Jeice1990 | | I bought one from a person that works at the same place as my dad. Crazy system (with games that often seem to use still-photos and FMV as graphics), but I like it. |

| Tuesday 14th September 2010 | Dr. Raptorheimer | | Ah the retarded offspring of Nintendo''s soured relationship with Sony. The CD-i was nintendo''s Laundered attempt to try and make a Playstation-esqe system before the ill fated 64DD failed. It was to be blunt a horrid system with its only notable game being a Russian Zelda with simple platforming and horrid cut-scenes. |

| Saturday 2nd June 2007 | Daz (Wigan) | | The CDi was such a revolutaniary part of computing, but has been forgotten by many, my old 210 broke, but I had to get another, that is now working, Games such as Mad Dog, with actual DV footage, and a light gun, haven't been surpassed to date. Nintendo's "Wii" system seems to attempt the only revival of this interactive part of the system, but thus far have failed. |
