| Thursday 29th May 2014 | dop hegger (Netherlands) | | The TeleVideo PM4 was one of the first dedicated fileservers. It could serve up to 4 IBM (compatible) Pc''s. As a server running infoshare (indeed the earliest version of Novell) is could handle record and file locking.
I know because, as technical support manager at that time, I introduced this system in Middle and Northern Europe.
have a nice day |

| Sunday 1st January 2006 | Stuart (Montreal) | | Came across this site- great. Sold over $10MM of Televideo-INFOSHARE (aka NOVELL) in Canada- few believe me when I tell them that infoshare 1.0 was the original NOVELL! Also sold 1,000 ALTOS Xenix/Unix CPU's a few years later- another great system!(from Dave Jackson-ex Dec) good luck! Stu |
