Seawolf  rating is 5rating is 5rating is 5rating is 5rating is 5

Seawolf is based on the 1976 Midway arcade hit Sea Wolf.

"As submarine commander you are in charge of sinking and destroying all enemy ships... destroyers, freighters and P.T. boats... an explosive Bally/Midway arcade classic. Fast action fun!!"

This version is a bit different from the original one as it's a 2 player only game. Each player control a submarine (red or yellow) at the bottom of the screen (with paddles). Each submarine can shoot 4 torpedoes in a row, and then wait 3 seconds to reload.

6 years after the original version, the game has also turned in colour, hopefully. Apart from that, verything is here: floating mines, different boat types and limited time.

Despite the VIC-20 limitations, Seawolf is a pretty fun 2 player game. Good efforts has been made to the sound which tries to match the samples of the Arcade hit.

Very good port of the arcade game given the possibilities of the VIC-20. Smooth animation and cool sound.
