Rebound / Basketball

The object of rebound is to catch the dropping ball on the paddle and then use the flipper or serve buttons to shoot it up through the three baskets at the top of the screen.

As the ball is served from the top of the playfield, move the paddle under it with your paddle control knob. The ball will bounce slightly. Dribble it across the field. Aim, and then shoot by presing the serve button or the flipper button (both buttons produce the same reaction).

The ball must be dribbled at least twice between shots. Score 2 points when the ball passes through each basket, and up to 8 points if you pass through all three baskets. After scoring, the target will pass to the other side of the playfield.

This game is a weird mix between a pong and a basketball game. But the smooth and curved movement of the ball affected by the gravity was impressive for the time, even more on a home gaming system!
