manoir du docteur Genius , le  rating is 2rating is 2rating is 2rating is 2rating is 2

This game was one of the first graphic adventure available for the Oric-1 computer. Like many of this genre it must have been inspired by the success of Mystery House for the Apple II, the first graphic adventure game.

Enter the Dr Genius mansion, and then try to get out!

The game is entirely in french. The text interpreter is pretty simple and very slow. You can only enter a maximum of two words. The entire game was programmed in BASIC!

The vocabulary is:
N, NORD, S, SOUTH, E, EST, O, OUEST, MONTE, GRIMPE, DESCEND, PRENDS, RAMASSE, POSE, OUVRE, FERME, ENTRE, AVANCE, ALLUME, REPARE, DEPANNE, LIS, LIT, REGARDE, RETOURNE, RENIFLE, SENS, REMPLIS, VIDE, INVENTAIRE, LISTE, RIEN, ATTENDS, POIGNARDE, COUTEAU, TOURNEVIS, LAMPE, CODE, ESCALIER, PISTOLET, PLACARD, TORCHE, TELEPORTEUR, MONSTRE, PETROLE, POT, CLEF, PAPIER, LIVRE, BRIQUET, COMBINAISON, COFFRE, ROUGE, BLEU, VERT, TITRE, ROBINET, CISEAU, PORTE, ACTIONNE (for the gun), JETE, LANCE, EAU, ENFILE, PASSE, APPUIE, ENFONCE, ENLEVE, RENTRE (for the code), ETEINS, ENTRE

If you've got the solution, post it here!

This game was my first experience with the adventure genre (in 1983) and it was a shock! At the time, in France, it was one of the few adventure games available. But when I play it today, it''s obvious that it didn''t stand the time: it''s too slow, and traps are unpredictable. You can die at any time without any logic...
