Marc Lewis (Spokane, WA)

I bought one of these, probably in about 1978. I think I paid $795 for it. I was working in the Cal Poly computer center as the Systems Supervisor (I did the systems programming for the IBM 360/40). Being a software guy, about all I could do with it was disassemble the ROM and write some simple stuff. Not much RAM, and no way to get the program in other than typing in the machine language for it. Of course when you turned it off, the program went away.

I recall selling it to an EE student at Cal Poly who was going to use it in his Senior Project to create a LORAN-C device of some kind. I don''t know if he succeeded or not.
