The JR-200 had good features compared to its japanese competitors : 8 colors, 2400 bauds tape speed and 3 voices synthesizer.
But sadly there were no real graphic resolution, only a combination of semi-graphic characters.

It''s not really true that there weren''t graphics available. It''s pretty much on par with most other 8-bit computers of the time: the character set could be changed to create free-form images of full 256x192 resolution (with some limitations).
